Hi All,

I have on CPAP for 5 years but my syptoms are not improving much. Could you please take a look at my data and see if my treatment is optimized.
My symptoms for most of the time are: headache, dizziness, brain fog, short term memory (I forgot things almost immediately), high RBC (>7.0) and hematocrit (>50%), day time sleepiness.

My sleep doctor looked at my data and stated that my treatment is optimized. But for all the symptoms that I have, she wanted to check my oxygen level at night which cost $300.

So I ended up bought a device and checked it myself. My oxygen level never drops below 90%. So I am not sure what to do next.

I concerned about the elevated RBC and my Primary Physician ordered all the test which all came out normal. So she said it must be from Sleep Apnea.
She said if this came from another cause then you would not feel sleepy during the day, which makes sense.

Please shed some light on my situation.

It said the Board quote has been reached. How do I upload my OSCAR data?

Additional information would be helpful because per your reports...you look good in that aspect.

You are showing around 7 to 8 hours of use on these reports...how much of that time do you think you are actually asleep?
Do you wake often during the night? If so, approx how many times? Any idea why?
Do you take any medications of any kind, even OTC? If so, what?
Any other physical or mental health issues going on?

I do have trouble falling sleep, but most of the time it will fall asleep less than 20 mins. I sleep for about 7 hours solid every night
I don't wake up often, only when I need to go to the restroom.
No medications.
I do have anxiety most of the time and overthinking. I used to wear Fitbit to track my sleep and the deep sleep is <1 hour. Not sure my if the cause is my sleep quality. I have tried many things and it is just not improving.

I really don't see a lot going on with your reports that we could for sure lay the blame on and if we could fix it you would feel better.
The only thing I see are the leaks and while you don't spend a lot of time in large leak....there is quite a bit of some sort of leaking going on that could potentially disrupt sleep...but then you say you sleep soundly for the most part once you get to sleep and it doesn't take hours to fall asleep. So I seriously doubt that the leaks are disrupting sleep. It wouldn't be impossible for you to be having multiple arousals that you don't remember but I just don't see it here. Usually enough arousals to cause us to feel like crap we are going to remember at least a few of them.

When is the last time you had a real complete physical with the usual blood work along with hormone levels (guys testosterone and girls the usual girl hormones) and Vitatmin D levels being checked???? Hormones and Vitamin D levels aren't something usually done with the routine annual labs which are usually CBC, thyroid, liver, kidney and triglycerides and cholesterol stuff.

Get a Vitamin D blood test because if it is too low we can feel like crap. Same thing for whatever hormone level you are due to your sex but it's especially critical for the guys and the testosterone levels.

I don't see anything in your settings that I would want to tweak if this were my report.
I wish I did then you would have something to at least try.
