Increase in heart rate at nights

Hello ladies and gentlemen
I have a question, maybe you can help me. Happened a couple of nights since I began taking notes. I wake up with increased heart rate but the dreams that I was having where somewhat “ feel good dreams”. After short time the heart calms down and I go back to sleep. Has anyone experience this? Could it be the machine not functioning properly? I have BP
