Checking In With News

Post by johnnygoodman » Thu Jan 18, 2007 2:53 pm

Howdy CPAPtalkers,

I've been absent from the boards lately due to a number of exciting reasons.

#1. I'm engaged!

#2. I'm closing on a house on the 31st of this month!

Hopefully I can update my CPAP.com About section so that everyone can see my lovely bride to be and house.

#3. Working on another CPAP.com Boots to Soldiers shipment.

My good friend is back from Iraq and safe. Unfortunately, his little brother was currently deployed to Baghdad. His poor mother. I can't increase his personal risk level but I can help him and his unit be comfortable on patrols and keep the sand out of their eyes with working sunglasses (army issue is pretty...well, consider what DMEs give you).

As always, if you'd like to support this effort, OR you would like to support the "help Johnny pay off a mountain of housing debt" effort, please shop CPAP.com!

#4 We are working on some projects that I think will be very helpful to a great many CPAPers and, as seems inevitable, will cause controversy among the rank and file CPAP establishment.

These projects are currently super secret but more info will be available when we have a beta up and need CPAPtalker feedback.

#5 New Product Launches: The Opus and the OptiLife are on pre-order shipping soon. I believe that F&P has entered the ranks of "powerhouse mask brand" with the Opus - I suggest you give it serious consideration.

Its weird that I feel the need to "check in" online, but I feel like I do. So, thats what is happening in my life. A lot of happy things. If you feel so inclined, please post back with how things are going in your life.

Johnny

Wow, a lot of exciting news!

First, congrats on the engagement and the new house!

I'm also excited to hear about the new projects.

I did a small part toward your "housing fund" earlier this month by purchasing my machine here, and will probably be checking out the new masks too.

Yes, I also contributed to the fund and received my backup machine (Remstar classic Auto) a couple days ago. Showed up very quickly and with ALL THE PARTS including manuals and extra gasket, filters.... Turned it on and it runs great.

Thanks so much for running a website where we can get quality equipment at reasonable prices with no hassle!!

About time you checked in.......

Congratulations!
I guess that means my "contribution" (last year) went to the down payment on your house?

Best wishes,

Congratulations on the engagement! I guess I contributed to your housing fund when I bought my Remstar Bipap Auto earlier this week.

Thanks for helping me with the mask exchange yesterday. It was nice to meet you in person!

Congratulations! Its been years since our son and daughter got married - but my son-in-law and daughter bought a house and closed between the holidays so while we've not forgotten the thrill and excitement of the engagements and marriages the thrill of a new home in the family is VERY fresh in our minds! Heady stuff these new houses. By the way, you have a couple of PMs waiting for you.

Congrats on the engagement and house! I hope you realize that we wives have never ending 'Honey Do' lists!

I have made some purchases from cpap.com. Some small, some large. I was unaware that my money was going to such worthy causes. I simply used cpap.com because of this forum and the helpful, friendly service I always get.
