Hello CPAPTALK-Community,
First of all Merry Xmas!
I found online some graphs where OSCAR displays "Flow limitations", but I couldnt find an option at my OSCAR to display it. I am using a Resmed Aircurve on CPAP at the moment. Is this device able to display it somehow?
Thank you very much!

How to display flow limitations on OSCAR?
Re: How to display flow limitations on OSCAR?
yes I have on OSCAR flow rate, pressure, leak rate, mask pressure, snore, tidal volume, resp rate, minute vent, insp time, exp time, AHI and time at pressure.
But I was not able to find flow limitations. How can I achieve that I see this setting?
Thank you very much!
Cheers!

On my Mac when running OSCAR there is a pulldown menu on the bottom right that lists the graphs shown. Click on it and make sure the "flow limit" is checked.
You can find more information on setting up OSCAR at https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.p ... ganization

Re: How to display flow limitations on OSCAR?
I already tried to research a bit on the OSCAR page but I was confused. Played a bit around witht the View > Advanced settings but wasnt able to find it. Also on the right side on the pulldown menu it was not available. I added a photo of "what I See". Sorry with bothering you with these little things, but I dont know where to ask else.

Try this. On the menu bar go to view->reset graphs->standard. You can then use the pull down to select the graphs you want, then resize them to fit on a single screen. You may need to use the scroll bar to see more choices that are not on the first section.

Take a look at File->Preferences->Waveforms. There are two columns of checkboxes. In the "CPAP Waveforms" column, make sure the Flow Limitation box has a checkmark. If you also want it on the Overview graphs, put a checkmark in that box as well.

Re: How to display flow limitations on OSCAR?
Zlatni, the issue may be that you are in CPAP mode. I believe the ResMed machines, including yours, don't record FLs while in CPAP mode.
There's an easy fix: switch to Auto mode and set your pressures and PS to constrain yourself to a zero range. For example, if your current EPAP is 5 and your PS is 4, yielding an IPAP of 9, then in Auto mode you will set the min EPAP to 5, the PS to 4, and the max IPAP to 9.

Re: How to display flow limitations on OSCAR?
Thank you all for your input! Miss Emerita is right. After a lot of research I found the answer. Not every machine records it. Mostly the AUTO models and some exceptions like the S9 VPAP S. Puhh. Merry Xmas for all of you!
