Well, when I saw the reaction in the ad, I was full of hope that my wife would react the same way. (at my age i need all the help I can get)
But when I asked her how it would look on me, she said "If you come at me at night with that thing in your mouth, you'll be on the couch in the living room."
So, alas, I was no longer interested in it.
I don't think I'd come to my wife wearing the device. I'd come to her with a well toned tongue following a few Excite workouts. I think they could expand their market if they looked beyond OSA.
then, if it could only mow lawns, she may not need you.

Great now your tongue will be awake all night.
Absolutely the funniest thing today! Thank you for making me laugh.

Is there evidence that tongue muscles have something to do with sleep apnea?
When OSA patients fall asleep, the tongue and other airway muscles relax. The tongue falls back into the airway.
So the idea is that a stronger tongue wouldn't fall back into the airway? I guess we'll find out if many people try this device out, it's either going to help or not. But it doesn't sound like fun! I wonder if people will be lining up to try it?
I think I am more excited and optimistic about this device than any other anti-snoring thing that I have heard of. I can’t fall asleep with CPAP, I suspect that I won’t be able to sleep with a dental device either. I had thought surgery was my only real option, but I don’t think that I am eligible for Inspire and some of the other surgical options sound problematic at best, so this currently sounds like my best bet.

I know we're not supposed to be happy when a zombie thread surfaces, but... I'm glad this one did. It was hilarious!
