First, mask choice as Zonker said is highly a personal choice.

Went to the RESPIRATORY THERAPIST this afternoon to tell her which mask I will get (F30)
She was gonna got the settings to send to the doctor and she found there was too many leaks>
She adjust the f30 mask on me and started my Resmed S9 and she said there is a problem with the h5i humidifier that's where the leaking problem is
So tomorrow or the day after she will get a used h5i humidifier and she will see if she can get the leaks fix.

She made me try a resmed airsence 10 Autoset. This this is a cloud compare to my older model.
When she started the Autoset 10 at 4 I could feel a light breeze compare to my s9 which feels like a compressor full blast.

So I will have to wait till we can figure out out to stop the leaks before getting the prescription from the doctor.

She said after seeing the results 5.7 from the hospital when I use the cpap (with the settings it's now an apap) 11.4 it's worst compare as if I don't use it.

I should meet with her in a few days to see if she can fix the Resmed S9 leaking problem.

Let"s hope for the best.

Good day everyone
I finally did the tritiation for my apnea.
When I started my adventure a little while back I bought a used Resmed S9 Autoset and the seller wasn’t honest so I bought a Resmed Airsense S10 Autoset.

I live in a small town and the specialist in my area is very helpful and I think she is doing a great job to help people with apnea in my area.
She suggested the Resmed Airsense S10 Autoset, the Airfit f30 mask, She made me try at least 20 different mask to make sure I buy the right one. She has setup the machine so it can work properly.
Since the tritiation is done she also suggest to meet once a year to see how it’s going and the cost would be 20.00 a year plus tax 15% = so 23.00 a year.

Here are the questions that I would like to ask.
1- Do I need to keep the machine on all day or is it better to turn it off when I get up and turn it back on a few minutes before I go to sleep? Cause I noticed when I fill the water chamber in the morning when I go to bed at night the tank is almost empty. (It’s not a matter of saving a cup of distilled water I am just wondering).

2- Are there any change that I should change in the settings.

Here are the screenshot from Oscar of the last night.

Thanks a bunch for your help and patience.
The captures screen files are in the revers order so the bottom one should be at the top.

turn it off. in fact, your machine has an auto on and auto off function.

i leave the charts to others.

I turn off the blower when I wake up with a short press on the top button. I leave the machine in 'standby' all day so it can do it's file updating. It also used to report to MyAir back before CDMA was turned off in Canada. Your new machine uses G4 cellular data, so it will report back an hour or so after you wake up, and update the SD card just after noon.

A long press on the top button will turn the machine completely off, but it is not necessary nor recommended.

when I look at the Myair app on my iPhone there is nothing.
I don't think Myair works.

Never has been much good for anything - which is why using Oscar is encouraged here.
