This is why a backup cpap is always recommended. You need to have spares of everything needed for you to sleep.
This is worth repeating.

Spare machine, mask, hose, humidifier tank, dilters.

I also think it's a good idea to have the same type of spare machine as your daily use machine. This way, all your supplies work with both, and you can swap components for troubleshooting.

He did. LSAT doesn't have anything right now.
And the S9 I thought I had a lead on was the Humidifier unit only.

So still looking. A while back another forum member had told me that he had a few S9s but I don't remember who.

APRIA - What is the deal with these people?

So today I tried all day to reach them. I called the Branch - After 20 minutes, I got a guy who knew absolutely nothing who said he would contact the RT. Never called back
Called again 45 minutes on hold. Hung up
Called again 30 minutes on hold. Hung up.

Called 877 number. I was on hold for 25 minutes. Hung up
Called 877 number. Someone picked up immediately. They said my unit was ordered but was not sure. Said she would contact the Branch. Put me on hold (different music this time!) multiple times. Then suddenly I am transferred to the Branch and I am on hold again.

You need to contact your insurance to see if another DME is in network for you. Be done with these people.

The power supply lights up and the green light on resmed occasionally flicker.
It sounds like it could be a loose connection.
You never did say if you checked the wire connection at the back of the cpap where the power goes in?
That is a known problem on resmeds that connection can come loose when you move the cpap.

Make sure that connector is pressed fully all the way in - it sounds like it may be loose.

Hi Lyleg,

I had advertised several Cpap systems a few months ago. I know I have a few left; 5 units sold quickly with no issues brought up by the buyers.

I think I have a line on a S9. Open box. Never used. 750 dollars. Is that fair?

Also, I want to disconnect from APRIA completely - they said my Sleep Study was not sufficient even though they were using it for five years.

For mail order supplies that deliver to California/Los Angeles - what company would you suggest? I have Anthem Blue Cross. I assume I have to get a prescription from my Doctor for the supplies as well?

That's a bit high for a machine discontinued several years ago when the AirSense 10 was released especially now that the AirSense 11 machines have been released.
There are several S9 models....which model???? Maybe a higher end model??

You need to find out who is in network with your insurance if you want to use insurance.
