Just received the upgraded n30i cushion. I will try it tonight and report my findings.
Looking forward to hearing about your experience.

I'm half way there, have a new N30i mask now with the old nasal cushion. Waiting on the new nasal cushions to arrive *smile*.

Also noticed that mask return insurance seems to have gone away, at least no mention of it when I configured and bought a mask. I assume that's because of the pandemic. Hope to see mask return insurance come back when the pandemic is "officially" declared over.

Well I slept with the new n30i cushion last night. It was very comfortable, leak rate was 6 L/M and my AHI was 0.0. Slept very well and the cushion was quite comfortable . The only issue was when I wanted to remove the cushion to clean it this morning I found it a little difficult to remove. The old cushion removed quite easily and the new one needed a little extra effort.
Otherwise I am happy with the new cushion. I switch between the bleep mask and the n30i.
If anyone was having problems with the old n30i cushion I would definitely recommend trying the new cushion. Almost forgot, with the new diffuser it was extremely quiet and it was nice not to have the air hitting the pillow or my arm.

Perfect, exactly what I was hoping.

Thanks! Still waiting for the new cushions, myself *smile*.

Thank you. This is great to know. I will try to order one and to make sure they send the new one. I like to alternate between the N30i and P30i.

Well well well...When I ordered the replacement cushions on Cpapmyway the web site said that they were in stock. And I got a notice that they were shipped June 1. Nothing yet, over a week later, so I called Cpapmyway, and they just shipped them today. Apparently they were out of stock when the web site said that they were in stock, and so now they're finally being shipped, with no notice of delay. I wouldn't have ordered there if I knew that they were out of stock.

Got to say, Cpapmyway isn't CPAP my way, it's CPAP their way...and they're off my list of suppliers. However, cpap.com still doesn't show the new cushions in their pictures..it might be that they didn't update their artwork, or that they are only selling the old ones at this point. Hard to tell, I'll try calling them next time *smile*.

I checked three of the on line vendors and only cpapmyway had the new design cushion. I got it in four days. I was happy with their service.

FInally got it, about 2 weeks after ordering *smile*. Glad that you did better, but I don't really trust cpapmyway after the mess that I mentioned above. I would order something from them that no one else has, or if I didn't care how long it would take to be delivered; e.g. more likely where I go last, not first. Cpap.com hasn't done this to me over the last 10 years of using CPAP. If they say things are in stock, they are, and they ship products when they say that they're shipping them. Others may have had problems with them, but not me.

On the other hand, the N30i with the new cushion feels comfortable at initial fitting, less bulky, and no stream of air out the front. Looking forward to spending a night with it *smile*. Seems more comfortable than the Dreamwear, time will tell, though. Doesn't feel like I'll have the Dreamwear problem with the backstrap floating up, but again, time will tell.

I use the headgear with arms on the n30i and that has stopped the headgear lifting up from the back of my head.

Now, if ResMed would just upgrade their F30i ...

I like the n30i but have one problem. When I put my head on the pillow I hear a rush of air in my ears, I know it’s probably from the air rushing in the two sides of the frame. It does bother me even though I use a sound machine. Anybody have any idea how to reduce the air sounds that rushes past your ears?
Thanks
