Strange that there is no hoopla besides the press release for a new line of products.

Some links to more information...not a lot but some.

Official resmed.com product page
https://www.resmed.com/en-us/sleep-apne ... ense11-b2b

User manual
https://media.resmed.com/sites/3/202106 ... MER-ML.pdf

No...I don't see a clinical manual yet but be patient...someone will find one.
EDIT:....looks like it is available the usual way over at the apneaboard manual requesting website.

Looks like 3 models

CPAP....fixed pressure only mode and most likely only collects very limited data like the AirSense 10 CPAP model. I call it a half assed brick ...not a full brick which is zero data beyond hours of use. OSCAR is NOT compatible with this model because there are no detailed data files for OSCAR to use.

Elite...fixed pressure only mode

AutoSet....probably 3 modes....fixed cpap mode, auto adjusting regular mode...and the special auto adjusting "for Her" mode since the product description mentions the for Her special algorithm. Looks like the combined the regular AutoSet and the For Her AutoSet into one model machine. Smart of them...and the only real think that I applaud them for. They should have done it with the AirSense 10 model line.

The only thing that really caught my attention was the mention "auto-adjusting PAP) that delivers breath-by-breath therapy adjustments,".... I am wondering exactly what breath by breath adjustments might actually mean. Did they actually change the auto algorithm and make it so the machine can actually do more in a breath by breath situation than just EPR??? Dunno...that remains to be seen.

The rest of it....fluff and PR crap IMHO.
But if a person needs a "personal assistant" to give them a pat on the back and brag ...whatever floats your boat.
I always thought all that MyAir crap was sophomoric treating adults like children with stars and rewards....not my cup of tea. Anything really important that MyAir might show me...I can easily see on the face of the LCD screen at a glance.

Oh...for bilevel users...no mention at the ResMed website of an AirCurve 11 yet

https://www.resmed.com/en-us/sleep-apne ... -machines/

Historically in the past with model changes it wasn't long before new bilevel models were released.

I will email the clinical guide to Pugsy who could possibly post it on here. Sorry, I don't have a file hosting site to post it.

I notice supplemental oxygen can be up to 15 L/min. The old product matrix info sheet from ResMed for the “10” series said the Airsense 10 CPAP/APAP models were limited to 4 L/min, but the Aircurve 10 BiLevels were 15 L/min.

IGNORE: The decibel rating was 25 for Airsense 10, now 27 for Airsense 11 (both using ISO 80601-2-70:2015, +/- 2 db)
Edit: (Hmm… I was comparing non-humidifier numbers for 10, with humidifier numbers for 11. Sorry! They match with humidifiers.)

Flow (maximum) at set pressures less on the Airsense 11 (standard tube, 12cm pressure is 143 L/min), compared to the older Airsense 10 (standard tube, 12cm pressure is 157 L/min)

Doesn't surprise me. There will be a separate clinical manual for AirCurve 11 models. Current AirSense 10 clinical manual also only mentions the AutoSet, Elite, CPAP and of course the for Her model.

We will just have to wait for bilevel new models.

I think you're only looking at the device names.

The clinical manual I have, mentions AutoSet for Her mode prominently as a feature of the AutoSet.

What I found surprising about the Air 11 announcement was listing Over-The-Air upgrades as a feature.
  • The ability to make over-the-air upgrades directly to a user’s device – just like you would get on a smartphone.
This feature has been supported throughout the life of the Air10's, but only used once about 6 years ago, and not since.

The majority of Air 10 owner's are using older firmware, capable of being upgraded. but isn't.

Maybe they intend on actually taking advantage of OTA this time???

I don't have anything where I can post something as big as the manual either so that I could make for hosting for a download.
I used to have Dropbox but they changed a bunch of stuff on me and now it's not so easy.

Won't be long though before the apneaboard will offer it along with all the others.

I doubt it. They don't really think that software updates on a general basis are important or else they would have done it with the AirSense 10 models.
The only OTA update they did was because of a humidifier software error problem.
They never updated software versions in general. Just that one specific thing because of the reporting error thing.

When I read that little part I just had to roll my eyes and say "yeah, right".

It's available on apneaboard now by request, just like other clinician guides. The user/setup manual is also available from the ResMed website.
