new machine quick question

I apologize that my quick search did not pull up this common question. I am seeing the doctor this afternoon and they just told me that I was due for a new machine. I'd like to have something in mind to request.

I have the RESMED autoset (not for her). Has RESMED come out with any newer machine or feature that I should ask for? I am OK with another just like this but I am going to ask for the HER as I do use the exhale relief feature on my current RESMED setting 2.

There is the AirSense 11 model slated for release in the next month or so. Not really widely available yet and it really is unknown if there are any huge differences between the AirSense 10 and AirSense 11.

If you do a forum search for AirSense 11 you will find some discussions and some links to videos from people who got their hands on the new model ahead of the rest of the general public.

ETA for general release in the USA...all we know is late 3rd quarter but I have heard of some people being told Aug 15.

You could probably hold off for a few weeks on taking possession of a new machine until the release so you can check it out if you wish. We just don't know all the details about the new model yet.

When the internet works it is the greatest tool of humanity, isn't it?

As I just passed my 5 year mark I will slow walk the new machine as there is something tangible on the horizon. I can't thank you enough and I'll do some research when I get back.

FYI:

The AirSense 11 does not have a For Her model. But the Air 11 AutoSet supports both AutoSet and AutoSet for Her modes.
