Hi,
I like many others are caught up in Foamgate. I am a new CPAP user (6 weeks) needing help trying to find out what CPAP hose was the original hose in the Dream Station. I now purchased (out of pocket) an Airmini and I would like to use the thin extremely flexible hose that came with the Dream Station. Here is the problem the original hose is heated and I do not need that with the Airmini. I have ordered 4 hoses that say they are light/flexible etc however they are not the same. Can some one please help me. Thanks

Re: Dream Station original heated hose
Have you already received your AirMini? I found the hose to be very flexible. Also, the AirMini uses proprietary connections. Without modifications (hacking, in effect), you really can't use any hoses/masks other than the ones ResMed specifically has designed for use with the AirMini. I, however, have hacked the hose to use my Bleep, and I am NOT in any way an innovator. So it can be done. And there are adaptors available as well, for hoses, but I have not tried them.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I received the Airmini yesterday and yes I love the hose..exactly like the one on the Dreamstation but I ordered an adapter so I can use my Dreamwear Nasal Pillow mask so I need to find same hose but without the Dreamstation connection. Just the regular ends. Thanks

If the end in question has a swivel on it, that part came off a mask.
Just pull it off.
Some Respironics masks have this swivel quick connect.
Annoying, if it fools you--as it did me.

I just bought an airmini for camping in Wyoming and bought an adapter to use my bleep. Here are some of the links I found for various adapters that let you use any mask you want, if anyone is considering an airmini.booksfan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 4:10 pmHave you already received your AirMini?
