Hi all!
I was one of the many people affected by the Phillips recall. I purchased a brand new Resmed airsense 10 and set it to my normal settings prescribed by my doctor. Its been a few weeks and I am tired, groggy and yawning all over again. I never had this issue with my Phillips dreamstation, I felt amazing.
I am using the Resmed mask, Ive checked the fit, leaks etc. In fact according to the myair application I am sleeping wonderfully, 95-100 score every night.
I contacted my doctor and waiting for a reply.
Anyone have any advice? Is it all in my head? Its been an adjustment using a new machine. I feel like the Resmed pressure it a lot stronger. The myair app also sucks in comparison to my other Phillips app.
Anyone experience this? Any suggestions? Help!! Thanks so much CPAP family!

Impossible to hazard a guess as to what might be going on without more detailed information.
Specifically detailed software reports from both machines.

Just because the settings are the same doesn't mean the new machine does things like the old machine because the 2 brands have 2 different algorithms as well as exhale relief options are different.
So we don't have an apples to apples comparison to go on.

I never thought of that, I just assumed they would work the same, but you're absolutely right. Do you have any suggestions?

Impossible to offer any ideas about anything without seeing some information....
but one question about your sleep quality?
How many hours of sleep are you averaging and are those hours fragmented with very many wake ups?...and if so, any idea why?

I do.
Read the links Pugsy gave you.
Then post a chart for her to look at and ask some questions.
You will then be on your way to restful sleep again.

Pugsy, you are an absolute angel. Thank you for those links.
I downloaded the Oscar app, but I will need to get an SD card for my CPAP as mine does not have one. Once I receive it I will post my data for any assistance.
Thank you so much!

Does the Respironics machine have a SD card?
If not, buy the SD card and insert it in the Respironics machine first and get the data off that machine first. It has detailed data available. We miss only the flow rate graph.
Then you need to have the SD card in the ResMed machine during the night to get the detailed data points because the machine doesn't store anything other than summary data in its internal memory.
