Aftermarket ResMed P10 headgear straps?

Post by Bubba in NC » Mon Jun 21, 2021 6:06 am

I'm seeing a variety of aftermarket knockoffs on Amazon. I didn't see anything in Product Reviews. Has anybody tried any of them? I usually get the brand name stuff, but it's just an elasticized strap sewn with a hole in the right place to attach to the frame, It also seems to be the most overpriced of the ResMed stuff, none of which is underpriced.

Thoughts?

Instead of P10 strap, use the AirFit N30 strap.
It has a clasp that allows adjustment when the material stretches.

I don't know of any generic headgear for the P10 that will fit.
But then I haven't looked.

Links to such products????

Amazon and EBay....a good source for OEM products and reasonably fair prices.

As mentioned...the N30 headgear will fit the P10 frame...despite ResMed saying it won't.
But it is a ResMed product....
again I don't know of any aftermarket headgear for these masks...but I haven't looked either.

Reviews for the aftermarket product at Mr Bezo's are all over the place...which is actually what I see most of the time for most products.
I don't remember seeing anyone here actually talk about the life span of the aftermarket headgear like this one for the P10.
They are fairly inexpensive though. Is this one of those situations you get what you pay for....dunno.
If I was in the market for a new headgear for the P10 I would volunteer to be a guinea pig but since using the Bleep...no real need.

Anyone here actually use any of those aftermarket headgear products????

Someone always has to be a guinea pig...any volunteers???

The better 3/4 has an F & P Simplus. We discovered that the headgear for the Eson works just fine. The only difference seems to be that the clips aren’t as wide.

I may try the knockoff P10 headgear. I’ll see what the usual scum bags have. I didn’t know that the N30 headgear would fit the P10. A manufacturer providing wrong info? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you!

Edited to fix the N30 from N20. Also, not surprised that they wouldn’t know. Can’t imagine they check those things.
PR DreamStation Auto…now back to the ResMed S9.
