How do I change Encore Pro password option?

Post by sleepergal » Tue Jan 09, 2007 9:51 am

Hi,

I installed Encore Pro over a month ago and have been checking my stats daily. I'm experimenting with apap mode to try to find my cpap "sweet spot" and have downloaded My Encore to help with the analysis. I printed the detailed instructions provided by Sleepy-in-AL for my type of system.

When I first installed Encore Pro, I didn't set a password but according to the detailed My Encore instructions, I need one. I can't figure out how to go back into Encore Pro and set up the password now. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

If you didn't set one in Encore Pro, you shouldn't need one in MyEncore.
I don't even recall there being a place to set a password.

Thanks so much for the reply. I can't get My Encore to do anything -- I get the message that it's "unable to access database". I read the Windows XP instructions put out by Sleepy-in-AL and the password problem seemed to be one explanation for why I can't get My Encore to do anything. I'm not sure what to do next.

Make sure the SQL server (program) is running. Also, that you have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed on your computer.

You are most likely using the wrong version of MyEncore, the one you need is Version 15b7.

Thanks for the spot-on help. I downloaded the version Goofproof recommended and followed Den's advice. It worked like a charm this time!
