New to CPAP. Tips, tricks, etc?
Hey guys and gals. I'm brand new to CPAP. My in lab sleep study showed I was having 36 events per hour with O2 dropping as low as 79%. I picked up a Dreamstation 2 tuesday. . So far I can't tell a difference but I'm hoping that will change. My pressure is set at 11. Starts at 5 and ramps up after 30 minutes. I'm a rookie at this so any tips, tricks and such would be very helpful. Thanks!

First, learn how to look into the clinician's menu on your machine to check your AHI and leak level every morning.
Second, if your AHI or leak level is high, learn to use OSCAR (first two threads under announcements).
Third, keep the upbeat attitude - you will be a success
Fourth, keep posting in this one thread so members can easily follow your history.
Welcome!

I have found that Pugsy's Pointers (second thread at the top of this board) has a wealth of info. Wish I had it when new but I missed reading it soon enough.
