Stent changed ahi

Post by zorki1c » Sun May 16, 2021 9:34 am

For nearly a decade my ahi readings have usually been below 1. Recently I had to have a stent put in and since then my readings are usually between 5 and 10 although my leak rate hasn’t changed. Can’t understand how a stent could make any difference
Any one out there had similar experience?

Cardiac stent?
Recent?
Still healing, recovering.
In time it should settle down.
Give it 2 or 3 months.

The bullfrog had one about 2 years ago.
His recovery was several weeks--12 weeks of cardiac rehab,
followed by several months of moderate, slow increase in activity.

What event category seems to have increased?
Any change in medications or sleeping position?

I’m taking Brilinta which I wasn’t taking previously as well as a statin. I’m starting some rehab this week. Haven’t checked on types of events.

Can you post an OSCAR chart? Your machine settings may need to be tweaked. After full recovery from the surgery, they can be reviewed again.
