Resmed 10 ASV for trade or Best offer

Don't know if this is allowed and if it isn't let me know!

I've got a Resmed 10 ASV that has been barely used. I bought it thinking it was a VAuto and what do you know, it isn't. It isn't right for me but I'm willing to trade it for a Vauto or sell it for the best offer. I'm in Canada so if you're in the states we'd have to mail it over the border.

What settings with the VAuto do you want to use that you can't get with the ASV?

It's just a little too powerful for me and the minute to minute to breath seemed just to strong. I don't have central apnea, and I read you can't calibrate the machine to work like a Vauto.

I'm mostly just trying to get rid of flow limitations. when I used the ASV it caused me to really lower my respiratory rate and that freaked me out a bit. It's just not the right fit for me.

You can make the ASV work like the VAuto simply by reining in the PS range.
I know because I have used the AirCurve 10 ASV's older brother the S9 Adapt which is essentially the same machine.

Give it a try...set PS minimum to 4 and max to 4 if it will let you do it. That will make it function like the VAauto with a fixed PS.
Alternately...you could use a tight PS range and get similar results.
PS on the ASV is what you adjust to make the machine function like the VAuto. It can be done.
