They are giving me the middle bilevel option tomorrow. I think the cpap gave me complex apnea on top of regular csa because my numbers are so high with it, way higher than my titration study. So I just don’t know if this bilevel is gonna work and I don’t want to be a B and demand a new one only to turn it back in now used a month down the road after my 3rd sleep study. I guess I won’t worry about it till the ASV if I get there

So I just got a Vauto from Nucara. When I complained about my first machine having been used it was Crickets until finally one of them said well this one is new. It was like they were avoiding the topic? Anyway this one looks better and has more pamphlets and a sticker on the machine and an as card already in it so.... hopefully I won’t have to breath in nasty smelling humidifier funk anymore! I haven’t taken it out of the case yet to check if it truly is new yet but, I was assertive! I didn’t chicken out like I planned on doing in my last post lol

Hey proud of you, if you let them those DME;s will walk all over you. If they say it's dark outside go out and verify it. We don't trust them.

Thank you!

Got it set up and plugged in and it has 0 run hours! I’m excited this one might help to some degree since I think the CPAP actually made it worse.

I tried to sleep without the coat on last night because of the funk and is already surpassed my insurance compliance but I couldn’t sleep! I put it on and instantly felt like it was now sleep time and was out within minutes. How quickly things change/we can adapt. Anyway I’m happy! Thanks y’all :D

So last night was my first night with the Vauto. Usually my AHI is between say 16-80 with only a handful of times <5. Last night was 2.7 I believe. It’ll take more than one night to see if it was a fluke or not but maybe I won’t need the ASV?

Half of the 2.7 was obstructive so after I get some more data I’m gonna pull my SD card and see if I can eliminate those with a settings change :)

That's fantastic! I'm curious what your settings are, if you have a chance to post them.
