If it is only compatible with Apple products, they lost me as a repeat customer--I am strictly Android.
Here's the app for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .myair.cpl

If the app is out already shouldn't that mean that its release date is imminent?

I had the same thought. Unless it can also be used with the series 10? Otherwise it doesn't seem logical to release an app 6 months before anyone could use it.

Not necessarily. ResMed pre-releases equipment to select Beta-testers. Those individuals may need access to the the app as well.

Apple has TestFlight to test iOS apps in beta stages without the public knowing about it.

Really curious to see how the DS2 and AS11 stack up size wise. I own both previous versions right now, as I was traveling a ton for work and I wanted a machine for travel, so I bought a used AS10 For HER - I ended up liking that one a bit better than DS1 and swapped to it full time once COVID hit (haven't had a work trip since March of last year). The new DS2 looks like it's a really nice size for travel, where the AS11 looks like it's a similar size as it used to be.

I qualified for a new machine through insurance last year, but swapped Insurance this year so it might be a pain in the tail if they need a new sleep study or something. At this point, I might just buy a Dreamstation Go with Humidifier (that wasn't out when I get my AS10 for travel, and I am guessing Humid-X wouldn't be enough moisture for me), although I think I would miss the heated hose quite a bit. Also my new DME doesn't appear to carry Philips machines. What to do, what to do....Hold tight at this point seems best. It would be nice to get a new machine this year if I am going through insurance as we hit our deductible, but I also don't want to rush in to anything.

I look forward to the day when my machine comes with an alarm clock and charging ports in recognition of the often cramped real estate on some bedside tables.

Smart phones have alarm clocks in addition to all the other stuff.
As for charging ports, many power strips have them, as well as numerous outlets and a cord.
I usually need a power strip anyway.
My cpap has enough to do already--and it does it quite well.

Horrible idea. Please, let's don't junk up a medical device with non-medical electronics. As Chunky says, there are other widely available alternatives for the non-medical.

Now that the DS2 is out on the market, Resmed should be releasing theirs soon to be competitive.

I don't think it's outrageous to ask for an alarm clock especially for people with very small nightstands.

Well, there is no alarm clock on the new models from Respironics and ResMed. The manufacturers recognize an alarm clock is a bad idea. Use your cellphone.

Alarm clocks seem like such an outdated concept in general. Everybody has phones. My watch will vibrate to wake me, much less startling vs silence and then blaring sound in an instant.

As luck would have it, I found another leaked picture of one of the new AirSense 11 models.
