Which machines are OSCAR compatible?

Post by Janos » Fri Apr 09, 2021 11:29 pm

Sorry to ask what is undoubtedly a dumb question but I'm a bit confused about which devices OSCAR supports. I'm not sure how to read their user manual.

For example, the DreamStation Auto CPAP 500X110 is listed in the manual as "fully supported." Does this mean a DreamStation DSX500S11 and DSX500H11 are supported? Is the X in 500X110 a placeholder for any letter that may appear there, or do I actually need to find a model number containing that X? Does that fact that there is no DSX before the 500X110 but there is a 0 tagged on at the end mean it's a different machine?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The DSX 500 is the important part in terms of OSCAR compatibility. The letters after the 500 are just codes for how the machine was shipped like with a humidifier or heated hose or sometimes to another country.
The important part is the 3 numbers immediately after the DSX.

Thanks Pugsy. So, just to be totally sure I have this right, if I buy a machine listed as a DSX500???, it will be supported by Oscar, which lists the 500X110 as fully supported (with no reference to DSX)?
