Resmed 10 w/out humidifier?

I am currently sleeping with a Resmed S9 that's getting old enough that I want to replace it before it stops working. I'm inclined to stay with Resmed because I'm accustomed to Resmed's EPR system. But I've also found that I sleep much better without a humidifier.

Can the Resmed Airsense 10 be used without its humidifier?

How difficult might it be to switch to a different brand? I'm looking for small and portable for travel in our RV.

I've been sleeping with CPAP every night for over 10 years. Pressure 12 with AHI of 0.8

My Airsense 10 arrives monday. I have been ,.using the S9 for many years as well... Yes you can turn the humidfier off I believe. Anyone, please correct me if Im wrong.

If you don't want humidification with the ResMed AS or AC 10, you have two options:

• use it with the humidifier tank in place, but insure you turn humidification off, so you're not heating the element all night
• pickup the side-panel to replace the tank

My husband and I both use the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet machines. He uses it without humidification and the side panel ; I use the humidifier. Works well for both of us, we are both happy with our choice.
