Battery

Post by tamhome » Sun Mar 07, 2021 11:23 am

I have a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset. I just purchased the dc converter for this unit off of Cpap.com. For a battery, I wanted to get a lithium ion one off of Amazon. My question is this--the DC out on the battery says 12V. Will that work for my Airsense 10? Someone mentioned on another thread that the Airsense 10 required a 24V. I have no idea how to find this out. Please forgive my ignorance of all things electrical. I appreciate your help.

Yep ther dc converter is for 12v batteries. Converts 12v to 24v. Lithium iron phosphate batteries are expensive, at least the bioennno ones.

And you can use the 12v battery to run your dual band mobile radio, handy talkies, and scanners!

These battery boxes are neat, made for lithium iron phosphate batteries

Dicks Sporting goods sells the Minn Kota trolling battery box, it's cheaper, but you have to take it apart and tighten and add lock washers to the inside battery terminal connectors, and maybe switch out the wing nuts for stainless steel wing nuts from Ace Hardware, or wherever

For an emergency when the power goes out... Then this works great. You can get a cable to direct connect the 24v to the airsense.

https://www.amazon.com/Talentcell-DC740 ... 6JP4XFH02K

They have other sizes in 12v as well.

Check them out, give them a call. I dont like those big batterys, to much current.

This isnt a long term battery(camping), just enough to make it through the night.

Have you tried this battery and did it get you just one night? was it with the humidifier and heated hose on?
