AirSense 10 Useful Life?

My AirSense 10 is just over 6 years old and has been used nightly with very few exceptions. I *think* it is getting noisier but it may just be my perception and not reality.

Is there any rule of thumb or guideline, like years or # of hours used, for replacing a CPAP?

And is there a way to see how many hours total it has been used? Thank you!

Run hours shows total usage hours. It's in the same area of the menu as the clock is. Explained in manual above.

6 Years of use....you are likely pushing the envelop in terms of wearing out things but there is no hard fast rule.
Some machines keep on trucking with over 25,000 hours and some die after 6 months.

I would be making plans to get a new machine and keep this old one as a back up.

do you have a backup machine?

if not, you prolly should think of getting a new machine now and use your current as backup. these things have a habit of breaking late on a friday night of a three day weekend.

I just called today about replacing my 5 1/2 year old Airsense 10. I was told Medicare allows a new one every 5 years and most insurance are either 3 or 5 years.
