Unable to send private messages

I am unable to send private messages, as they remain in the outbox. I have tried sending 2 messages to the administrators to correct this, but these also remain in the outbox. I was able to send a PM successfully back in 2019. Am I doing something wrong now? Please help me. Thank you.

As Julie says, until read, they stay unread in the out box, not the way most forums work, but how this one works. Jim

Depends if you are in a Forest or a Crowd of People!

As previously stated...private messages will sit in the outbox until they are opened and read by the receiver.
It's the way we know if someone has actually received and read our PMs.
Once it is opened then the PM will move over to the Sent box.
So it's not a question of the PM not being sent...just a question of when the receiver actually opens the PM.

I have had PMs sit in my outbox for months because the person simply never returned to the forum and/or didn't ever open the PM.
