Is it a bad idea to change my pressure by a few pts suddenly?

Post by UARSandApneaguy87 » Sat Jan 30, 2021 2:15 pm

My min pressure was on 8 last night and looking through my night's data and the night before, my flow limitations were far less on pressure 12/13. I don't mind those pressures that much. Would it be a bad idea to increase my min to 12 so suddenly if i did it today? Would it cause centrals?

I am using the Phillips Dreamstation Auto CPAP with full face mask.

Naa, change them and see what happens. You can try anything you choose.

Do you think you slept better with lower flow limitations? Is your AHI low? If yes to both, then sure, you could try 12; alternatively, you could go up one cm H2O at a time.

You're probably fine.

pressure induced centrals *can* happen, but they're rare, only a small percentage of people experience them.
