The Philips Nuance is my first mask and I have been a CPAP user now for 2 1/2 months.
The velcro on the Nuance model has been coming loose in the night for a few weeks.
With my insurance I am suppose make my masks last for six months.
Does anyone have experience with the Nuance Pro or a different nasal pillow mask
that is just as comfortable but is more durable?

You might try picking the lint out of the hook side with a needle, small crochet hook, or tweezers.
Everything sticks to velcro--and sometimes stays there.

Yeah, that's pretty common for any strap no matter what mask you use.
I use the same mask you use and have the same problem. Like the previous poster, picking out "gunk" from the sticky-side velcro helps.
Also washing your straps by hand may help - mine seem to last longer (i.e. stick better) if I wash them with mild soap by hand every morning and let them air dry. When I do that, they seem to last for about four months before I start getting the "losing its grip" problem.
I've also hand-stitched a small piece of fuzzy-side velcro to the strap as a last resort to reach the six-month replacement mark.

With xPAP therapy, do or do not; there is no try.
Re: Philips Nuance Velco Is Losing it's Gripping
Peel and stick velcro over the loose velcro....that can help.
Don't wash the headgear so much and for sure don't dry it in the dryer.
Try to leave the velcro parts always stuck to each other. Don't mess with the tension once you have it just right if at all possible.
The more you open and close the connection the quicker the velcro becomes less sticky.
