Sometimes what people will fight over just amazes me. I think if I said the sun rose in the east and set in the west someone would just have to pick it to pieces and fight about.

All this fighting about which water to use makes me just want to pull my hair out and scream....
"JFC just use toilet boil water for all I care."

Someone mentioned distilled water on ships. A few years back we took a Russian operated boat—actually built in East Germany in the 80s—from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Took our CPAPs figuring we could make do the regular water for a few days. The boat actually had distilling equipment that supplied all the water we wanted.

With an adjustable thermostat, they could make a lot of happy juice, too.
This is especially important to Russians.
Anyone who's been there can understand.

Do we really expect everyone to have the identical experiences in life that we have had?

If someone is happy using distilled water why is that a BIG deal?

Is this supposed to be a "Helping Thread"?
If you have nothing useful to add, (which is usual) then please just don't post.

People have been told a LIE that they MUST use distilled water.

This is a problem when they *can't find it* due to shortages.

We are also told that mask parts need to be replaced at ridiculous intervals.
More fodder for the salt spreader.
And please don't get me started about "cpap germs".
All these lies have one thing in common--they are spread for PROFIT.
Liars need to be pushed into bankruptcy--make them an example for others.

Water quality varies from city to city even within the same city never mind throughout the world. The one standard *water* would be what?

The following are examples of nothing useful or helpful.

I had to use tap water. After a couple days, I noticed that I would wake up coughing more often than not. Got rid of that water chamber, and then found some distilled water. I went back to normal.
The power of delusion is strong with this one...
