Noisy CPAP Machine

Hello everyone---I am trying to solve a problem with my CPAP machine and I am asking for your inputs.
Here is the issue: My wife has super keen hearing, she can hear a cricket scratch it's ass two blocks away! That being said, and no, she will not wear ear plugs etc., I was wondering if there is a way to build some kind of box with insulation that might keep the noise down to a very low point. I know I will need a air input hole and a hole for the hose and power cord to use.

If anyone has a drawing of a box they make, bought or whatever I would appreciate getting it. My machine is a Resmed S9 with humidifier.

She would rather hear your snoring than the gentle hum of a CPAP machine?

What about placing the machine on a book on the floor on your side of the bed?

Have you considered a CPAP nightstand? We have one on either side of our bed for our machines. We store distilled water in the bottom of one, and our spare machines and travel bags in the other.

Which CPAP do you have? Some are quieter than others.

What does she hear? Hum? Air noise?

Maybe you should get some of those crickets closer so she can drown out the noise of the machines! (Probably best not to suggest that)

My S9 was a really quiet machine. Don’t think it was muc louder than my A10. Of course
I can put it a foot from my ear and I don’t really notice the sound.

Thanks to all of you who have responded. I will look into those cpap nightstands and I have a S9 with humidifier.
