Resmed Airsense 10 issue

Post by MikeyD_ » Mon Sep 07, 2020 8:15 pm

Couple nights ago I filled water chamber and all looked good. Next day after getting off work I was about to refill water chamber and noticed black debris. Cleaned it out and turned machine on and ran about 5 minutes and checked water chamber and found same black debris. Looked and it real closely and noticed it was some sort of foam coming from machine. Disassembled and found foam in the fan motor. After looking at a tear down on YouTube I see the fan was supposed to have foam in front of fan. Any ideas to what the foam was for? Foam went on to of fan and blue part in picture. Had oily feeling to it.

I think it's supposed to be packing between machine parts, but unless yours is very old it shouldn't be doing that... speak to your dealer, get another machine.

That has to be from the blower housing. When I replace an Air10 blower I replace the blower & housing all as one part. There isn't anything that looks like that external of the blower.
