Hi.
I have used the Ultra Mirage for about 10 years. The only complaint I have besides
the occasional leaks is I tend to get a leak on my chin where I had surgery years ago.
The surgery site is about a 1.5 inch length depression (vertical) in my chin. This area tends
to get frequent leaks and the largest leaks.
Any suggestions on how to stop the leak in the old surgical location?
Would a mask with a foam cushion be better?
Thank you

Re: Ultra Mirage alternative for leak in surgical site
My UM(FF) tends to leave a mark near the bridge of my nose, so I stick a 1" square piece of foam there when I put on the mask... smallest 'deal' in the world.

If I had just searched cpap.com.. There are these Remzzzs thingies.
I will give them a try.
Sorry for the unneeded post.

If you go to the Remzzz web site, they used to offer sample packages for a free trial. You can also make your own liners from an old tee shirt, or any soft material. One member of the forum said she made her mask liners from her old underwear. You can find a pattern at this site: http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/diy-cotton-mask-liner.pdf
This pattern will work for small and medium mask cushions and can be enlarged for large masks. I used this pattern when I made mine out an old, well-worn tee shirt. I have also made them out of knit paint rags I found at Lowes. You can make the hole in the center larger as long as you leave enough material to go under the mask cushion.
