Dreamwear ffm's under nose cushion smaller than DW's nasal cushion?

Post by KarSans » Sat Jul 25, 2020 1:39 am

I bought a medium sized Dreamwear ffm three days ago to wear while I have a cold or congested nose but I don't feel like I am getting enough air in my nose as I get from the DW nasal cushion of the same size. And while putting both the masks side by side the nasal cushion looks wider than the under nose cushion of the ffm, aren't the two supposed to be the same size? My sleep quality has also been very poor for the the 2 nights I wore the ffm. I didnt have any major leaks or problems getting used to the mask.

I seldom find two different products to be the same, Jim

I had both of those masks. I think with the ffmask the air is diffused over all parts of your face that the mask covers. The nasal mask just blows right up your nose, so it feels like more air. Probably the nasal or pillows mask don't need as much pressure as a result.
