I work for the VA. I would call your VA primary care provider and ask what to do. The VA may pay for your private sleep doc visits under the Mission Act (if the doc is in network) and then just order supplies for you, or VA may require you see a VA sleep doc to get supplies ordered. Depends on VA doc's availability and how far you live from VA doc.

Call the Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Services department at the nearest facility. This page has a facility finder tool ---> https://www.prosthetics.va.gov/

Question - is your disability rating due to sleep apnea?
And do you have a Primary doc at the VA?

What willis said. I get my CPAP supplies from the VA. All I had to do was ask and provide a copy of my sleep report and prescription.

Yes, in the VA nothing in prosthetics can be ordered without some sort of request from a provider (MD, NP etc.) Even a bp cuff requires a request to be entered by provider so the best step is to contact your primary care doc at VA
