Howdy David, one word of advice, for me nicotine patches helped me a lot 17 years ago. I don't know about you but if I quit smoking, I would cough a lot and nicotine patches helped that a lot and also the cravings. Just a thought. Also you have to follow their plan and eventually quit them patches after 3 months.

You are both responding to 10 yr old posts - why do I think the OP is now back from Afghanistan and onto better things?
