If I download MyEncore 1.51b will it work with Encore Pro 1.71? We downloaded Encore Pro and smart card reader (MAKO DT3500) last night and are up and running. Numbers aren't terrific but it's wonderful to get to see the graphs and nightly numbers. I'm greatly encouraged.
Derek, thank you for creating and sharing MyEncore -- that's wonderful of you to do that. I'm hoping to use it soon. I found the wonderful information in the CPAP FAQ area and have the instructions for downloading. So I'm ready to go for it if they work together. I hope so!
Happy Holidays everyone!
Does MyEncore interface with Encore Pro 1.71?

Cathy,
I don't think anybody knows.....
The last version that Derek created was 1.5B7 and you can download it from this link:
http://lewiston.mit.edu/myencore/myencore15b7.msi
I think the version you have (1.51b) is an older one that had "issues", so I wouldn't use it if I were you.
The newer versions of Encore Pro are backwards compatible with previous machines. The machine you have (like mine) is good-to-go with the 1.4 versions of Encore Pro (which is what I still use).
The 1.5i version was introduced for the Bi-PAP Auto machine and the 1.6i version was rolled out for the M Series machines. What the 1.7i version does is a mystery at the moment......maybe it was to fix problems with the M Series machines losing data after 6 nights or other glitches.....I don't know. I also heard through the grapevine that Respironics was working on TWO new software releases......???
Give it a try.....download the 1.5B7 version and let us know if it works with EP 1.7i.
Happy Holidays,
Den

I may be wrong, but I think the main reason 1.7i was developed was to add handling downloads from the new "HeartPAP" machine - Respironics' adaptive servo machine for people with CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) and sleep disordered breathing (often Cheyne-Stokes Respiration.) Maybe they straightened up the M series occasional data loss thingy while they were at it.
