This forum has been awesome to read and I wanted to join in on the fun of dialing in my therapy with such a helpful group. I'll cut to the chase and post my data from last night.
Quick background is I've been on the Dreamstation for 10 days now. Switched to the Dreamwear nasal gel pillows a few days ago since the p10's were causing some irritation and seemed to leak quite a bit due to my side sleeping. The Dreamwear seems to leak less and is definitely more comfortable on my nose, though it is a bit louder on the exhaust. My AHI is in the 3.5-5 range mostly and I was hoping the new mask would help but things don't look much different in the data. I've fiddled a little bit with the pressure but mostly just nudging it up or down a digit. I started around 5-11 and moved to 6.5-12.5 with a little in between. Doubt it's doing much since those pressure changes probably aren't very impactful. Figure It's not flat lining at all on the top end and does seem to on the lower end so wondering if I should just drop both a bit and tighten the range.
I know anything under 5 AHI is considered 'normal', but if there's something that can possibly reduce the events further I'd love to hear it. I do already feel a bit better in the mornings and through the day which is encouraging so I feel I'm at least on the right track!
I can post more specific screenshots if someone spots something they'd like a closer look at.
Thanks!

Raise your minimum pressure...7 and maybe 8

+ 1 LSAT, and you may even need a little more. Your settings are letting a fair number of obstructive events occur, so you want to raise the minimum pressure to head them off. In other words, your earlier change was on the right track, and now you need to move further in the same direction. It sounds as though you put the minimum up by 1.5 with no particular problem, but as the minimum pressure gets higher, you may want to move up in smaller increments. Try an increase of 1, to 7; if that is OK for a night or two, try 8. If it feels like too much too fast, just back down to 7.5 or 7 and stay there for maybe 3-4 days before trying to go up.
At any point along the way, feel free to post a chart so we can see what's happening. When you do, be sure to say how the night went and how you're feeling.
Speaking of which: it's great that after just 10 days, you are starting to feel better and using the machine for the whole night. But you are right to pursue a lower AHI. The chances are good that you can fine tune until it is pretty consistently under 2, and ideally around 1 most of the time. Onward!

Re: Newbie looking for input on my data
Thanks for the input. I put up my min to 7 and didn't get the results I was hoping for...
The early morning I'm usually semi-awake around 6am or so. I notice that most nights on the cpap is giving me a really dry mouth but I haven't noticed waking up with my mouth open so maybe it's just a burst here or there I'm not realizing? I don't see anything in the leak data that makes me think it's a big problem though. I've been sipping some water 2-3 times during the night to help relieve it so I can get back to sleep.
Ideas?
