Tube Temp?

Post by mlsrealty » Mon May 11, 2020 4:45 pm

Wow, i'm just know noticing this....So, I have had the humidity set on auto, but never paid any attention to the tube temp...So I have 2 questions....1. it looks like it has been set at 81....Not sure if I should leave it there or not....not sure what changing the temp will do....I have been using a nasal pillow, and it seems to be fine....however I have just switched to nasal mask and I do feel my nose is getting pretty dried out.....So will changing the temp help? Or if I switch to manual, will adjusting the humidity and the tube temp make a bigger impact......Sorry for all the novice questions...…

I would leave it on auto, and try a slightly higher combination setting.
The auto function does a good job of controlling rainout.

Climate control --> Select "Auto" or "Manual"
When set to manual, you get not only "Tube Temp" but also "Humidity Control" (Tank Temp)
Tank settings aren't in degrees, but you have a choice from off to 1 - 8.
I set my Tube temp to 70 degrees and Humidity Control to 3.

Humidity is different for everyone. Try auto and adjust the tube temp, or try manual and adjust both the tube and tank temps. Whatever works for you!
