F30i Cushion Size for small size users
F30i Cushion Size for small size users
I finally settled on the F30i mask & really love it because it is the only mask that seals for me without needing liners. I ordered the small frame & small cushion because that is the size I needed for all my previous masks. The small frame is perfect, but I was getting mouth sores at the corner of my mouth. At first, I thought they were just cold sores or some other dread disease, & treated them as such but the issue was not resolved. I figured it out that it was the cushion rubbing at the corners of my mouth causing the sores as the edges of the cushion rests exactly at the corners of my mouth. I resolved the problem by ordering the small wide cushion. It seals just as well & extends just enough past the corners of my mouth. No more mouth sores. So, if you are using the F30i and small cushion, and are having problems with mouth sores, change to the small wide cushion and that should resolve the problem.

Re: F30i Cushion Size for small size users
I would think this would be true for any mask/cushion. if the edge of the cushion is resting on the corners of your mouth & causing sores or is leaking from the corners of your mouth, you need to go up one cushion size. I realized based on this experience that the size guides that come with your mask are not always accurate & just because you used a small cushion for one make/model doesn't mean it will be the same cushion size for the next make/model you try
