Attaching info from OSCAR

Post by AnneW » Thu Apr 02, 2020 2:13 pm

Hi,

I decided today to download the OSCAR and input my info from the Sd card on my cpap. I use a dreamstation with airfit p10. i was going to attach it just to get some input from those who know what they are looking at. i don't fully understand all of it. I am not having any issues and i love the new nasal pillows. i did think i was having some leaking issues but maybe i am not as i did not hear anything last night. anyway. i did go into preferences and turn off the calendar and unclicked for the pie chart. I just don't understand how to stack the information for you to read it. If someone could explain that then i can attach it.

Thank you
Anne

Looks at my examples here for graph format.
We don't want all of those graphs.

You can turn off unneeded graphs and you can resize them and move them around.

Next time (if there is a next time) turn off the pie chart....go to Preferences/Appearance tab then remove the "show pie chart" check mark. This lets some useful statistics move into view.
You can resize the graphs so that the leak rate is better show. Hover your mouse over the bottom line in each graph until you see a little plus looking icon that is actual tiny up and down arrows separated by a little line....you can then click and drag the box vertically and resize the graphs.

You say you aren't having any issues and while technically your AHI is less than 5...it's barely less than 5 and if it were me I would increase that minimum pressure maybe 1 or 2 cm and see if the Events graph cleans up a bit.
Pretty much every flag you see is an indication that the airway is trying to collapse and it might affect how you sleep and feel.
It's not urgent since you aren't complaining of issues but it would optimize your therapy a bit better.

I have a SleepyHead tutorial at the top of the Announcements section where I explained a bit what to look for and what each item meant.
OSCAR is based on SleepyHead and all that I said about SleepyHead pertains to OSCAR as well.

Anne, after you uncheck the pie box, there's one more step, which is to click on OK in the bottom right of the Appearance panel. Sometimes you have to move the panel around to get to the OK button.
Oscar software is available at https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
