Not sure about a week but there is a month. For those of us who are survivors it is no joke.
I had never heard of it. Sorry but to be honest until recent I didn't pay attention to any news so maybe I just missed it being announced and promoted. Or maybe someone needs to promote better.
And I think that the breast cancer awareness is a month as well. My mother is a 2 time breast cancer survivor and I lost 2 aunts and my grandmother to it... Trust me I understand and congratulate you on your survival.

My point was that ResMed decided to time their release of the S9 for Her model with Breast Cancer awareness and made it a god awful pink. It was a marketing ploy and they picked a god awful pink color to do it with.

You would have to ask ResMed why they didn't do a similar ploy for the guys...and the short straw comment wasn't a joke...it was reference to the fact that women historically have got the short straw out in the real world in more areas than I can count....wages, jobs, hell...even cpap masks were designed to fit the guys for years before anyone started paying attention to the women and even then how they made them for women mainly was headgear color change.....big whoopie. They are slowly changing in that regard and finally offering real size differences in masks and cushions and frames and headgears....but they still make it like color is all we care about and seem to fail to realize that fitting the female body is really more important than the color of the headgear....at least IMHO.

The short straw comment wasn't a reference to penis size. It was just coming from a woman who for years has seen women get the short straw in life in general.

Thank you. I understood your intent. Some of the more dense people here had it go over their heads.

I would imagine a new home lineup for OSA is going to be put on the backburner for a while since many sleep labs and physician offices are closed and the current focus is on acute respiratory care. ResMed will make their money on their existing re-supply efforts with masks and other accessories.

I found the color pink that ResMed used....offensive but I know why they did it...it was rolled out for sale as part of breast cancer awareness week. It was an ugly pink though.
Why not the blue for prostate cancer awareness then?
Beats me....do they even do a big deal week thing for prostate cancer awareness week? I haven't ever heard of one.
Maybe you guys are getting the short straw for a change.
Some shorter than others.
