I tried to post this 2 weeks ago. I don't know why I'm not seeing this so I will try again. If anyone answers this post and wants screenshots, then I will post them. I am writing about my husbands' sleepyhead data. There is an odd ebb and flow type of pattern that is becoming a normal, almost every night occurrence. I have watched Jason's videos on how to interpret the data so I'm not panicking for no reason. After much research between this forum and the NIH, it looks to me as tho he is having more Cheyne Stokes breathing. He did recently see his cardiologist who gave him a good report following a quick EKG.
There have been nights where there are no apneas flagged in Sleepyhead but the 'pattern' of breathing is there. There have also been nights where there are CA and Hypopneas are flagged during the 'pattern'. So far, the nights that have been bad have only been one or two nights a week. I am concerned about this and wonder if there is something I can do with the settings on his bipap machine.
He is using a Respironics Bipap ASV System One. Settings are below.
ASV (Variable EPAP)
Min EPAPLower Expiratory Pressure 9.50 cmH2O
Max EPAPHigher Expiratory Pressure 15.00 cmH2O
Min IPAPLower Inspiratory Pressure 15.50 cmH2O
Max IPAPHigher Inspiratory Pressure 25.00 cmH2O
PS MinPressure Support Minimum 6.00 cmH2O
PS MaxPressure Support Maximum 15.00 cmH2O
Thank you for any insight.

And if you posted before PLEASE put the new info in the old thread so we can follow it better, even if you've made changes.
Re: pattern of breathing
There is no old thread of hers about the flow rate from her husband that I could find. All I found was a brief comment in someone else's thread about her posting of the flow rate images.
This thread is fine since there is no other real thread of hers to refer to.
If another thread was done....it's lost somewhere or didn't get stuck for some reason or got removed. I don't remember seeing it.

Re: pattern of breathing
Ah, thank goodness it made it through this time.
Here is one of the bad nights. I downloaded his card today and this past week he had a pretty bad night although Sleepyhead didn't record the pressures after about 3:15 am. It just showed the flow after that. I'm assuming its a bug in the program, Encore showed the whole night.

Hope this works.

Here is a closer zoom of that period of time. Wow, it took me a while to figure out where I saved this image. oy.

Re: pattern of breathing
Hi folks,
I have, just yesterday, downloaded Oscar. I wrote the forum on ApneaBoard and became aware that it has replaced Sleepyhead.
I really appreciate the replies earlier.
Thank you again, Dreamless’ wife
