Mask Seal leakage with Airfit F30i

Post by Dean Olson » Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:31 am

I can't figure out why on MyAir account, with the new Airfit F30i, my score is zero each day, meaning heavy leaking. What I am aware while still awake is that much more air
comes out both from the front of the mask thru the vents and also the top connector. Much more that I've experienced with other masks (F20 and the F30). I really like the F30
but got the F30i to get the hose out of the way. Also, with the F30, I'd often experience leaking around the nose area and thought the new F30i, with the flexible frame that
carries the air, would hold the mask tighter to my nose and stop that kind of leak, but I never had the kind of leakage report as I'm getting now with the F30i. Any suggestions?
It seems to fit fine and work okay, so wondering if the mask vents and the vent on the head hookup let too much air go, and if so, how to regulate that. Thank you, Dean

Use the available software (OSCAR) and look at the leak line graphs to see if there is ever a time with no leak or if it is messing up with an artificially elevated baseline...or maybe a leak in the circuit somewhere unrelated to the mask fit itself.

I have had good luck with my F30i mask , no leaks at all. I use a small frame with small cushion. Maybe your frame or cushion size is too large or too small?

I am having the same problem with my Airfit F30i mask. Some nights are good and some are bad. I am wondering if my pressures are set too high.
