Which one? There are two ... the 431 and 432.

I think the 432 is a bit smaller when compared to the 431 of same size.

THe 432 has a foam cusion between mask silicone seal and mask frame ... 431 just has silicone seal attached to mask frame.

It is important to get the correct tension on the lower headgear strap on 432 and I assume same is true for 431.

Basically, all interface are unique to each individual ... especially when it comes to FF masks due to everyone's unique facial structure(s).

Just try as many as you can and that is how you will find one that works.

Thank you. I have the 432 (from your description). It was better last night than the Ultra Mirage FF the night before (which I had a terrible problem with leaks all night long. I check the tension on the bottom strap tonight, per your suggestion -- it was along my chin that I had leakage.

When lying on my favorite side, my vent blew directly onto my husband's shoulder! Bummer! I love that side! Tonight I'll try moving a bit further away -- bummer, too! The other side is not so good.

Most fortunately, my "sleep center counselor" says I can try as many as she has -- I'm verrrrrry lucky for that. Don't know what next if I can't get the adjustments right on either of these two -- way too much leakage going on here.

Live and learn has become my new motto -- each day is a learning process towards the goal of sleeping and feeling better.

F&P makes the FlexiFit HC405 that has an exhaust diffuser which eliminates the exhaust air stream. The diffuser mounts in the exhaust port and looks like a small piece of F&P air filter material.

She may need a full face mask as opposed to the nasal 405.

Cathy -

You may wish to try and switch the side of your bed with your hubby ... to allow you to sleep on your favorite side and face away from him.

Forgot to mention that it is also impoortant to eliminate facial oils before going to bed if you are not already doing that. It should help maintain the seal longer through the night.

Thankyou for the suggestion and the link. I checked it out and it sounds like a solution. I had a MUCH better night last night -- almost NO headache this morning and very few interruptions during the night. YEA! I"ll have to see what my options are -- hopefully I won't end up buying a bunch of masks to find the right one -- I would imagine the number my sleep center has for me to try are probably limited. I have no doubt I'll find the right one.

DreamStalker--

Thanks so much. I initially missed the comment about the FF mask vs the nasal 405. I have eliminated my face cream (here come the "character lines") but heck, it'll be worth it. My husband and I decided to try putting a pillow between our heads (and it blocks his view of me with my mask on). That seemed to work. Are resistive to switching sides of the bed after getting used to a pattern of him on my right side for 38 years! Appreciate the suggestions tho'.
