Another Newbie!

Post by alpha1340 » Fri Dec 15, 2006 7:34 pm

Just picked up my machine today. Its a Fisher & Paykel HC234 with Respironics Comfort full face mask. When trying it on at the DME It felt some much better than the one during the titration. Much lighter. I am also so pleased that the machine has a built in humidifier. The DME also said that I was eligible for replacements of tubes and mask at six months and to get them, even if I didn't need them so I would have back ups. Wish me luck. Hopefully tonight I will have a good nights sleep.

I am not very familiar with your machine but FP is a good company. I wish you a great nights sleep! If you have any problems come back and post. Some one will have an answer or at the very least some comforting words.

I'n not Irish, but here's a blessing for you...

May the Sandman come quick to meet you.
May the wind flow freely even when you lie on your back.
May the heated humidifier be warm upon your face,
and rains ne'er fall soft upon your nose.
And until you post again,
May the God of all sleep hold you in the pillow of His hand.

Kathy

Kathy, with poetry like that, you may have to change your name to Kathy O'Teague. <grin>

Welcome, I hope you nights went well.

I know my APAP and the help of the group changed my life.

Hope it does yours.
