Headgear for large head

Post by JeffV » Fri Jan 31, 2020 12:48 pm

I've been happily using the Nuance Pro for over five years, but the last few sets I've gotten haven't fit well. I think they've changed the headgear - they used to come with gray headgear that was a bit "gummier", now the headgear is white and fits smaller (how it feels anyway, it's also not as stretchy). I have a large head, and even with all of the straps let out all of the way it's still a bit uncomfortably tight.

Does anyone have recommendations for a better fit, either with this mask or with something comparable? I'd like to stick with pillows but I'm willing to try a different mask if I can get a better fit.

Thanks everyone!

You can always order a different size headgear alone, without the mask. Sorta sounds as tho you may be going down the new mask journey. I'm a full face mask user. Good luck!

The problem is that the Nuance Pro headgear is "one size fits all" with the Velcro adjustments so there's not a larger size of headgear to buy (at least not that I've found). I didn't even know there were masks that had different sizes of headgear to order. Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and buy a couple to try out...
