GoHas Loud Inhale Noise! How about a Z2?

I posted a few weeks ago inquiring about travel CPAP machines. After all the good advice I ordered and received a Dreamstation Go without humidifier or battery. I like it, but as a few who responded said, it is noisy. The noise is during inhale and I've tried all the suggestions I've read and was told buy the manufacturers rep. I've tried the larger hose from my VA ResMed unit, I've tried 3 different masks, all of which are fine with the ResMed. I've placed the machine on the ground. Nothing lowers the sound to a level that my wife or I want while trying to sleep. We can solve the problem for her by using a white noise machine but I don't know if I'll be able to adjust.

The other model I was interested in is the Z2, but I can't find much about noise and wonder if anyone can comment. Will it be similar to the Go? Thanks!

my husband and I both recently purchased the Z2 with FSA cash at end of year. He uses the nasal cushion mask and has no noise at all. I use the Dreamwear full face mask, I find the noise it not from the machine itself but from the air whipping around in the full face mask and escaping from those pinholes in mask face. Make sense? I also have the Dreamwear nasal cushions as an alternate mask and found that does not make the whirring noise like the full face. I can't do the nasal cushions full time as it just pushes the air out of my mouth ugh.

Again, different people have differing tolerances to noise.
I am so inured by the sound of coal trains rumbling by 24/7
that I slept through lightning striking a tree in our yard.

My ceiling was the flight deck of an aircraft carrier for three years in Vietnam. Back then, you couldn't wake me up. Now I'm a wimp with the inhale noise.
