Two weeks on APAP - I'm in love!

Post by leholst » Sat Dec 16, 2006 12:59 pm

Hi y'all,

It's been two weeks on APAP and I am in love with it. (Can I be in love with an inanimate object?) I sleep through the night, my dreams are interesting but never the "struggle" type, no rainout and I wake up without the dry mouth I used to have. I'm just starting to feel like a human again - I get a bit sleepy toward the end of the day, but I'm not exhausted like I used to be. My mask is a delight to wear and adjust and my machine is wonderful. And as I've said before, without your advise and suggestions (especially before I saw my DME) this would not have been a pleasant experience. But, fortunately, it HAS been a very comfortable and pleasant experience. My wife is so happy for me and because I'm not snoring at all, she's getting a good sleep at night too.

I'm still waiting for my Encore software and my 3500 reader and I'm confident they'll be here soon.

Thanks everybody.

Lloyd

I am so happy for you and your wife.

Thank you for posting such good news.

Yes you can be inlove with your machine. Besides, you spend so much intimate time with it. LOL

What about being addicted to it? I think I am addicted to mine.

I can do this, I will do this.

My disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, nor have I ever worked in the health care field Just my personal opinions.

Congratulations!!

I'm 3 weeks in and can't say that "I'm in Love" with my cpap or mask, yet, but, I don't hate it either!! Just getting along fine right now.

But, I, too love the sleep and dreams and refreshing, energy the next day! After all, that's what we're doing all this for right?

Thanks for the encouragement!!
Wishing you dreams!!!
