So I have my new (ish) ResMed 10 Autoset. Three nights now. Last night was shortened by waking with bad drymouth. I'm still fiddling with pressure settings. My last sleep lab result was 11.5 (two years ago) which was I think .5 less than my first which was in 2013. It looks to me like the ResMed machine attributes more centrals than Respironics did, though probably not much different. I have struggled for years with that Respironics algorhythm that uses repeating pressure spikes to "test" whether you can go up. They often woke me. The ResMed seems gentler, but results are about the same.
What issues do you guys see here? How can I get longer nights. How did I get dry mouth with a full face mask and 1/4 to 1/3 of a tank of water?

Life is a dream…if I'm wearing my Resmed AirTouch F20 cushion and my Autosense 10 Autoset isn't being hijacked by some dung-eating state security troll.
Re: Help w/ Sleepyhead
It's the mouth breathing itself that causes the dry mouth even when using a full face mask.
The humidifier sometimes just can't keep up with the drying effects that mouth breathing brings.
There are lots of folks using a full face mask even with humidity set to pretty much maximum that are having to add some sort of oral hydrating agent to their mouth at bedtime.
Some folks just get dry mouth easier than others with even a little of mouth breathing. Maybe they are on some medications that tend to dry out the mouth more easily or maybe they have some other health condition that lends to a more dry mouth.
These humidifiers simply can't always crank out enough moisture to hydrate the oral cavity well enough. They were designed to hydrate the nasal cavity which is much smaller.
If you have room to increase the humidity setting a bit more you might try that but it may or may not make any difference.
You might want to learn how to distinguish awake/arousal related flagged events from asleep flagged events.
I am betting quite a few of your flagged events from last night you weren't sound asleep when they got flagged.

And it's not just centrals/CAs that can be flagged while not asleep. I have seen OAs and hyponeas also get flagged and they were so blatantly awake breathing related that anyone could spot them.
As to how to sleep longer or better....beats me at this point if we don't know what is causing us to wake up prematurely and sometimes beats me even when I know what is causing it. I have been struggling with sleep maintenance insomnia for quite a while now....google it and start reading and see if anything stands out that might be causing you not sleep as long as you wish.
Medication side effects...common culprit so start there but the list is miles long and sometimes even when the cause is know it's not so easy to fix it.
But to fix any problem we first have to figure out what is causing the problem and sometimes that involves a lot of detective work.
