Newbie... I have been reading this Site for about 3 months since I found out that I had OSA. I purchased the Encore pro software and a Smart card reader. On the website that I got the smart card reader it said that it worked with Respironics. I am having a hard time getting it to connect and download the smart card. It saying that it is not being detected. It is in the device manager and appears to be working. ANY HELP or IDEA 'S ????

Re: ACR 38 smart card reader and 1.622 Encore Pro software
Is the smartcard reader an Mako DT3500? Did you install the Encore Pro specific driver? (not the one that came with the smartcard) Did you install the driver _after_ Encore Pro?gxyguy wrote:Newbie... They said that the dt3500 was on back order and this would work just like it. I told him that I had a remstar m series auto cpap and that if worked with it to go ahead and send it.

According to the Encore Pro help file there is also a serial version called the DT3000, something called the Model 152 Serial SmartCard Reader, and the LT4000 PCMCIA SmartCard Reader that works.Goofproof wrote:The DT3500 is the only one that works, never has it been posted another reader would work.
