Woke up with faster breathing and feeling off/anxiety
48yo Male, 260lbs, 6'1", with two instances of DVT/PE blood clots, and one instance of AFIB in 2017. I'm on Xarelto for life, and get routine blood work for clotting, which has been negative. Also on Bystolic (Beta Blocker).
Guys, I've been doing well for most part. But some nights, even with low AHI, I wake up with a feeling that my heart has been stressed out at night and anxiety feeling too. I have this minor "stressful/odd" feeling in left side of my chest. I will notice if I shift positions to a different side, it feels like blood flow takes awhile to catch up. My SpO2 will drop when shifting sides down to 88-90% and back to normal 93-94%.
This "stressful/odd" feeling in my chest woke me up twice last night. Each time I felt like I was breathing a little faster than I normally do.
I was going to go workout at the gym earlier this morning, but felt a little "wore out" from my bad night. But now, a few hours later, the symptoms have gone away. I took a Klonopin when I woke up and that seemed to help symptoms go away a bit.
Anyone have any insight on what could be going on?

You might want to keep to one topic/thread instead of so many different threads about the same thing.

You really need to be talking to your doctor about all your perceived issues.

I did talk to my doctors. I had a recent Echocardiogram Stress test running on treadmill. Just saw my electrophysiologist three weeks ago and ECG all normal. My PCP is worthless and he has run all tests. Also had my oncologist do tests for clotting and she had no answers to my symptoms. I guess I can always go see my cardiologist again but I've had multiple Holter Monitors last year too. No abnormalities.

I know that you wish the answers to your problems can be found in your cpap data but it's simply not there.
No amount of posting the same stuff over and over again is going to show it.
We aren't doctors here and there's simply some stuff that we don't know what might be going on and we don't have any business messing with.
With so many posts regarding the same thing don't you think that if someone had any sort of idea that they would have said something long before now.
You are having problems that are beyond the scope of the forum members here to be of any help with.
Your doctors don't know and they are privy to much more information than we are.
If they don't know.....how can it be expected for us to know?

OK thanks. How can I delete all my past threads then? I'm following up Monday again with my cardiologist but I doubt he will have anythinf else to suggest.

You can't delete past threads and there's no reason to if you are planning on just posting the same thing again.
Your best chance of getting productive ideas from the forum members is to keep everything related to the same topic within a single thread so everyone can see what might have been offered in the past or whatever.
My own personal opinion on things....maybe have a good heart to heart discussion with your doctor(s) about the anxiety you are experiencing. The mind is a powerful thing and sometimes it doesn't do us any favors in terms of symptoms we perceive as happening.

Your sleep data seems normal across the board. I would recommend working on treating your anxiety first, and then if these symptoms still persist, seek further testing. If you’re able to run and do a stress test, in my layman opinion you are unlikely to have any life threatening heart or lung conditions. Serial testing is unlikely to produce anything helpful at this point.

Seems any time I've become aware of a diagnosis I become hyper aware of every little twinge and wonder if it needs medical attention. Maybe that's what you are going through, I certainly don't know. I'm guessing from the responses you struggle with anxiety. I would hesitate to tell anyone to ignore symptoms. Do keep your doctor updated. Sounds like they are trying to address your concerns. I do hope you find some peace of mind either with answers or with relief knowing the symptoms haven't resulted in a crisis. Good luck with things.

Yes today my hematologist is doing blood work to check for clots since I have a clotting disorder. They may also order a CT scan if the blood work is positive. Yesterday I checked my blood pressure throughout the day and it was running 157/93 or around that and I was getting a headache and felt dizzy. I'm usually 120/80 or below.kteague wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 4:04 amSeems any time I've become aware of a diagnosis I become hyper aware of every little twinge and wonder if it needs medical attention. My sleep doctor looked at my machine logs and said that was normal. I do take medicine for anxiety and panic attacks. I follow up in two weeks with that doctor.
