DT3500 Smart card reader

Post by tslon » Fri Dec 15, 2006 9:47 am

Need a favor. Can someone that uses this reader with the twofactor drivers in XP look in their control panel> System>Hardware>Device manager and under driver details for the smart card tell me what all the driver file names are? I am repairing my devices and I am not sure it has all the right drivers installed. Thanks!

Mine shows on XP home:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\2800.sys

Hope that helps

Thanks. Does it only show one file in the list?

if you can't get it working, go to here and download the EncorePro driver installer:

I have that setup program. I just need to know what drivers are listed for the device. If it is just the 2800.sys then I am ok but if there is something else that should be loading that may be my issue. I had a system problem and am trying to get everything working without rebuilding. I am afraid that reinstalling with this program may not be doing the trick.

That is the only driver listed in my device settings.
